We selected Susan Sechrist initially as she was referred to us by Cathy's mother, Frances Sharp. After speaking with Susan over the phone (our transaction was long distance, San Jose, CA), we felt very at ease with her style. She was very friendly and extremely willing to work with us on this move. Susan was never aggressive or pushy to the point where we ever felt uncomfortable. I remember talking to Cathy about how pleased I was having selected Susan as nearly every time I called Susan on her cell phone, she was walking the neighborhoods with flyers or taking notes, etc. We appreciated her work ethic and felt confident she would work hard for us to find the home we wanted. Susan was very good at finding out what we wanted in a home, what it was we were looking for. After defining those parameters, she provided us with many listings, sent by e-mail, that we could look at and sort out different homes and prioritize them accordingly. Once we had firmed up the timing of my job transfer, we worked with Susan to set up a time when we could travel to Colorado and look at some of the homes we were interested in. Again, Susan was very flexible with our schedules, and she even missed a class to accommodate our tight schedule. Once we arrived in Colorado, Susan kindly arranged to pick us up at the airport, took care of getting our financing started, and then drove us around the south Denver area showing us various homes we had interest in. She was very well organized, as I believe we were able to view approximately 16 homes in about a day and a half. She even was able to get us to see the house we really liked a second time and, of course, that's the one we ended up buying. Once the offer was accepted, Susan was very diligent about getting the paperwork sent to us for signatures and approvals. All in all, the transaction went quite smoothly, even with our fairly aggressive schedule we had laid out. We moved into our new house two days before Thanksgiving (which was our target date), and Susan was at the door when we got there to greet us. She really took care of us, and we felt like we were in good hands the whole way through the process. We'd gladly recommend Susan to our friends, neighbors and relatives for their housing or real estate needs.
